The walk started at midnight at Midsummer Place and took in thecentre:mk, Campbell Park, Willen, Great Linford, Stantonbury, Bancroft and Rooksley and finished back at Midsummer Place. The first to complete the 10 miles were Alison Tetley and Gill Puddefoot from Newport Pagnell in 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Paul Hinson, Chief Executive of Willen Hospice, commented: “The atmosphere was out of this world. I would like to thank everyone involved; walkers, Hospice staff and volunteers for making it such a success. This was an amazing event, not only for the Hospice, but for Milton Keynes and we are already looking forward to next year.”
